The first part of a detailed report on last summer’s activities is ready — but how do we continue?
It is time to take the Nordic Peace Alliance’s Helsinki+50 initiative to a new phase. This is facilitated by the fact that Tord Björk, the initiative’s prime mover, has just completed his report on how various civil society movements and organizations celebrated the idea of common security and evaluated its implementation so far.
The report also highlights the way in which the Finnish state remembered the ECSC in Helsinki in 1975 and its successor the OSCE in July-August 2025.
The 72-page report, which contains many different contributions and not least a wealth of visual material, is now ready for download (as a PDF file) and can soon (perhaps already) also be read online. See the Reports and Documents page where you will also find links to further documentation.
In addition, Tord Björk is currently working on a second part of the report, which will contain an analysis of the situation and thus provide support for reflections on how we should move forward.
